Adding diamonds, or as the cool kids say “Icing it Up” adds a new dimension of luxury to anything in your jewellery box! Yes, you read that right. When Vanilla Ice said "Ice Ice Baby", he meant diamonds!
Diamonds have a colourless, crystal clear appearance. Like Ice, diamonds can pull heat away from any warm object they come in contact with.
Don’t believe us? You can test this for yourself by pressing a diamond against your skin.
Diamond jewellery is an investment that will stand the test of time. But before you make the purchase, read below to make sure that your diamond jewellery ticks all the right boxes!
Say hello to the 4Cs
The 4C’s are a globally accepted standard for describing the quality of diamonds: Color, Clarity, Cut and Carat Weight. This helps you evaluate the diamonds’s characteristics, value and price.
COLOR: Naturally, most white diamonds have a slight yellow tint. The closer it is to colourless, the clearer it shines, the rarer the diamond. A standardized system that runs from D (colorless) to Z (saturated) determines the colour of the diamonds.
CLARITY: The amount, size and placement of blemishes in diamonds (known as “inclusions") hinder the refraction of light, and directly affect its sparkle.

CARAT: Carat determines the weight of the diamond and not its size. It is assumed that the higher the carat weight, the more valuable the stone. But the price of diamonds is based on their quality and level of craftsmanship which is all the above three C’s combined.
At STAC, we only use natural real diamonds that are graded SI clarity, meaning they have no blemishes or inclusions apparent to the naked eye and are Near Colorless (IJ)

Your precious possessions need proper care to keep them sparkling!
To maintain the lustre and durability of your diamond jewellery, store your diamonds safe and dry in a jewellery box or a soft pouch. Always apply lotion, cosmetics, hairspray, and perfume before wearing your jewellery. If your diamonds are regularly exposed to cosmetics, they will appear cloudy.
How to clean your diamond jewellery to bring back its sparkle
1. Simply soak your jewellery in warm water with a few drops of detergent for 10 minutes.
2. Gently scrub your jewellery with a soft toothbrush, rinse and pat dry with a lint-free cloth.
At STAC we believe diamonds are for everyone and most importantly for everyday!
